What it does
When a piece of work is ready, Briedo can create a task in an Asana project so that delivery picks it up where they already work. This is a destination, not a source.
What Briedo reads
Your workspaces and projects, so you can choose one. Briedo does not read task contents back, and nothing in Asana starts work in Briedo.
What Briedo may write
A task in the project you choose, when a piece of work becomes ready and you have switched automatic handover on.
Permissions you are granting
| Scope | Why |
|---|---|
| workspaces:read, projects:read | So you can pick the project from a list. |
| tasks:read, tasks:write | To create the task. |
| openid | To name the connected account. |
How to connect
- Settings, then Integrations, then After discovery.
- Connect Asana and complete its authorisation screen.
- Choose the destination project.
How to route work
How mapping works
There is no field mapping. Briedo sends the finished internal document for the piece of work, in the form the destination accepts.
How to test it
- Choose a scratch Asana project first.
- Take a test piece of work to ready.
- Confirm the task appears with the content you expect.
- Then point the destination at the real project.
How to know it is working
- The destination is listed and enabled.
- Ready work produces a task.
- The handover panel on the piece of work says it was delivered.
When it goes wrong
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Nothing was delivered | Automatic handover is probably still off. |
| Delivery failed | The handover panel says why and offers a retry where retrying is safe. |
| Needs re-authentication | Reconnect the same Asana account. |
How to disconnect
Disconnect on the card. Briedo stops creating tasks. Tasks already in Asana stay where they are.
What happens to what it already told us
Nothing is deleted. Work that was already prepared keeps everything it learned, including the record that this system is where it came from. Those are records of what was true at the time, and disconnecting a system later does not make them untrue.
What stops is new information arriving. Deleting historical data is a separate request, and a deliberate one.
