What it does
Briedo can schedule a meeting and create a Google Meet link for it, with the discovery link already in the invitation.
What Briedo reads
What Briedo may write
Briedo writes only the meetings you book from it. It does not change or delete anything else in your calendar.
The permission itself is wider than what Briedo uses. It lets Briedo create, change, delete and read events on calendars you own, not only the events Briedo created. It does not reach calendars that other people own and share with you.
Permissions you are granting
| Scope | Why |
|---|---|
| calendar.events.owned | Lets Briedo create, change and read events on calendars you own. Briedo uses it to book meetings with a Meet link, and reads your meetings only if that is switched on with you. |
| openid, email | So the connection can name the account you connected. |
How to connect
- Settings, then Integrations, then Before discovery.
- Connect Google Calendar and complete Google’s consent screen.
- Confirm the card names the account you expect.
How to route work
Nothing to route. This connection is used when you schedule, not when work arrives.
How mapping works
No mapping. There are no fields.
How to test it
- Schedule a meeting from a piece of work, with yourself as the attendee.
- Confirm it appears in Google with a Meet link.
- Confirm the invitation carries the discovery link.
How to know it is working
- The card says Connected.
- Meetings booked from Briedo appear in Google with a Meet link.
When it goes wrong
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Needs re-authentication | Google withdrew the permission. Reconnect the same account. |
| A meeting was created twice | A retry was treated as a new attempt. Retry the same attempt rather than starting a fresh one. |
How to disconnect
Disconnect on the card. Briedo can no longer create meetings or read your calendar. Events already in your calendar are untouched.
What happens to what it already told us
Nothing is deleted. Work that was already prepared keeps everything it learned, including the record that this system is where it came from. Those are records of what was true at the time, and disconnecting a system later does not make them untrue.
What stops is new information arriving. Deleting historical data is a separate request, and a deliberate one.
