Briedo is built with GDPR and EU AI Act requirements in mind. This page links the documents that describe how, so each statement can be checked.
Service: Briedo. Privacy contact: privacy@briedo.com.
Documents
- Privacy Notice — for account users, prospects, researched business information and website visitors.
- Data Processing Agreement — Briedo as processor of the prospect and lead data its customers control.
- Subprocessors — every recipient, with each fact labelled by its source.
- Security — the technical and organisational measures in place.
- Cookie Policy — what is stored in your browser, and what needs your consent.
- Privacy requests — ask for access, correction or deletion.
How Briedo works with personal data
- Roles. For a customer's prospects and leads, the customer is the controller and Briedo processes the data on its documented instructions — its configuration, its approved discovery policy, its approvals and its delivery settings.
- AI is disclosed. A prospect is told, at the start of the conversation, that Briedo uses AI to organise discovery information for the organisation they contacted.
- People decide. Briedo makes no automated acceptance or rejection decision and gives no numeric qualification score. Briedo prepares context; the professional makes the decision.
- Ask first. A prospect is contacted only when the organisation has sent, approved or set up the contact.
- No evidence, no fact. Researched information keeps its source; public is not the same as verified, and contradictions stay visible.
- Retention. An organisation chooses how long a closed Opportunity is kept — 30, 90, 180 or 365 days, 180 by default — and it is then erased.
- Where data lives. Briedo's database and file storage are configured in EU regions of Google Cloud; some subprocessors may process data outside the EEA, as the Subprocessors page details.
What Briedo does not claim
- Briedo holds no independent security or privacy certification (for example ISO/IEC 27001 or a SOC 2 report).
- No regulator or certification body has approved Briedo.
- Where a provider's terms for Briedo's account have not been independently verified, the Subprocessors page says so instead of assuming them.
- These pages describe how Briedo works; they are not legal advice for your own processing.
